Travel I-81 North into Virginia. Exit to I-381 via Exit 3. I-381 becomes Commonwealth Avenue. At the fourth traffic signal from Exit 3, turn left onto State Street (You are now back in Tennessee). FROM THE NORTH OR ABINGDON / ROANOKE AREA:

Travel north on Highway 11E (which becomes the Volunteer Parkway) to State Street (the Tennessee-Virginia state line). Turn right on State Street. SHIELDS is on your immediate right.
